Department of Human Resource and Administration

The Department shall be responsible for management and development of human resources and provision of administrative and logistical support services in order to improve performance and enhance smooth operations.

The Department shall perform the following specific functions:

  1. Manage the human resource in order to enhance performance and utilisation of human resources;
  2. Provide administrative and logistical support services in order to enhance smooth operations;
  3. Disseminate human resource and administrative policies in order to inform decision making and create awareness;
  4. Interpret terms and conditions of service, code of ethics and Government policy on training in order to enhance adherence and ensure compliance to the National training policy;
  5. Conduct training needs assessments in order to facilitate preparation of training programs;
  6. Maintain buildings and surroundings in order to promote a conducive working environment;
  7. Provide Registry services in order to contribute to the efficient operation; and
  8. Formulate and implement staff wellness

The Department comprises the following 3 Units:

  1. Human Resource Management;
  2. Administration; and
  3. Registry
